Sekh Sahonawez is an Indian politician with the Trinamool Congress party, who is accused of murder in three cases and of attempted murder, kidnapping and other crimes in a number of other charges.〔 This analysis of elected officials in West Bengal 2011 lists Sahonawez as the representative with most serious criminal cases against him.〕 In May 2011, he won the Ketugram seat in the West Bengal state assembly election, 2011, and became the state legislative representative for the area.
